How far in advance should I book? We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks ahead for the best availability on hotels and desert camps, especially during peak season (March–May and September–November).
Can itineraries be customized? Yes. Every sample itinerary on our site is a starting point. We adjust the pace, route, hotel category, and duration to match what you’re looking for.
How many days do I need for the Sahara? A round trip from Marrakech or Fes to the Erg Chebbi dunes typically takes 3 days minimum. Longer itineraries (4–7 days) allow for a slower pace and additional stops like the Dades Gorge and Todra Gorge.
Is the desert trip safe and comfortable? Yes. You’ll travel with a local driver-guide experienced on desert routes, in a comfortable private vehicle, with hand-picked hotels and desert camps along the way.
What is the camel trek like? The trek into the dunes takes around 45–60 minutes each way and is suitable for most fitness levels. A 4×4 transfer is available for anyone who prefers not to ride.
Which cities are included in an Imperial Cities tour? Marrakech, Fes, Meknes, and Rabat — Morocco’s four historic capitals, each shaped by a different ruling dynasty.
How long does a full Imperial Cities tour take? Most travelers take 6–8 days to visit all four cities comfortably, with time to explore each medina without rushing.
