the summit. Continue to the Skoura palm oasis — 5,000 hectares of date palms laced with ancient irrigation

the historic capital of the Tafilalt and the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty that has ruled Morocco since 1666. Visit
the Rissani souk — one of the most authentic rural markets in Morocco. Continue to Merzouga, arriving at the edge
of the Erg Chebbi dunes in the late afternoon. Mount your camel for a guided sunset trek into the dunes, arriving at
your luxury desert camp as the sky turns gold. Traditional Moroccan dinner by firelight with live Gnawa drumming
under the stars.

Day 3 : Full Day Around Merzouga Desert,

Wake before sunrise for the dawn over the Erg Chebbi. Camel ride back to Merzouga village after breakfast. The day
is entirely yours: a guided 4×4 dune excursion deep into the Sahara, sandboarding, a visit to the Gnawa musicians’
village of Khamlia, a visit to a traditional Berber nomad family near the dunes, exploration of the fossil and mineral
market of the Tafilalt, or simply resting on your hotel terrace watching the light shift across the dunes through the day.

hundreds of thousands of date palms. Cross the Middle Atlas plateau through Midelt. Continue to Ifrane — Morocco’s
alpine town built by the French in the 1930s in the style of a Swiss mountain village — and the cedar forests of Azrou,

Frequently Asked Questions adventure 6 Day:
Why does this tour start in Marrakech and end in Casablanca?
This open-jaw routing suits travelers flying into Marrakech and out of Casablanca, or vice versa, without backtracking
to the original arrival city. It allows you to cover the High Atlas, the Sahara, and the imperial north in one continuous

private journey ending at Morocco’s main international airport.
Is the desert camp on Day 2 private or shared?
Fully private — this is a private tour throughout, and your desert camp is reserved exclusively for your group. You can
choose standard or luxury camp level when booking.
Can Day 6 include more time in Rabat instead of rushing to Casablanca?
Yes — if your flight departs in the evening, we can extend the Rabat visit and arrive in Casablanca later in the
afternoon with time for the Hassan II Mosque before your flight. Share your departure time when booking and we will
plan accordingly.
Is this tour suitable for families and seniors?
Yes. The pace is comfortable throughout with a full free day in the Sahara (Day 3). The camel ride has a 4×4
alternative. We select family-friendly and senior-friendly riads with easy access and can arrange ground-floor rooms
on request.
What is the best time of year for this tour?
March to May and September to November are ideal. The Sahara in summer can exceed 40°C but is manageable
with early morning activities. Winter is mild in the imperial cities but the Tizi n’Tichka pass can occasionally close in
heavy snowfall.
